AssuriCare announced it has acquired August Systems as part of its strategy to provide innovative solutions to every aspect of the long-term home care industry. Based in Spokane, Wash., August Systems provides home care management software to private duty, hospice and home health care agencies.

AssuriCare will add August Systems’ CareWhen software-as-a-service platform to its offerings for home care insurers, providers and families. This addition will allow the company to provide a single, simple solution for the entire spectrum of home care management, from scheduling to electronic visit verification to payment.
